I have been using the purity clenser and hope moisturiser for over a week now and I have to say that they are lovely to use. Once again they are sample from my John Lewis event, where I think I shall have to save up to go to, because I have found far too many good products that I lived without before it!

They each have lovely smells and have made my skin clearer and softer in the time I have used them. Even though the Hope in a Jar is such a small sample I have used it 4 times so far and still have at least another 2 if not 3 uses left. I love it when I find a product that epitomises the saying 'a little goes a long way' as with both of these product I find that to be very true.

As stated before I do not do my routines on a daily basis as my strange-ass skin would just break out, but I haven't had a break out as of yet and feel that these product are very good for me. I do have other samples and moisurisers to use up before I even think of purchasing any more but unless I find a better one in the next few month I have to say that these Items will be re-purchased by myself.

Dead Sea Spa Care 4 way Buffer
£12

The First ever Nail buffer I used was the Dead Sea Spa Care one, Please be aware that though i have put a link to the site that I did not buy mine online. I purchased mine in Cardiff one day and it came in a set with cuticle oil and hand cream and cost £25. It last for ages and I personally think that It worked, the picture of the nails are not mine (my nails are in an awful state at the moment due to picking them) the picture is a good depiction of the difference that I noticed in my nails. When I used this buffer it lasted me almost a year, so for the price it was good for the long haul.

Since using the first one I have strived to find decent but cheaper ones that do the same job here is my review of 3 different ones I have used since. none of them lasted as long as the Dead Sea Spa one, but for the difference in price, this is no big matter, also if you are a first time tryer of one of these, I would suggest a cheaper one, and at least that way if you are unhappy with the results you haven't wasted a small fortune.

Ms Manicure is a pretty good brand offering lots of different beauty product from make up brushes to nail clippers. Everything that I have currently bought from this brand has been of pretty good quality for the cheap price that you pay. The nail buffer follows this rule and for only £2.55 I have got a good 5 uses out of the buffer before having to throw it away, since you should only buff the nails every 3-4 weeks safely, this lasts between 4-6 months depending on how often you choose to buff your nails. At only £2.55 I think it is a great buy. 9/10

The Boots 4 way buffer is the cheapest on my list, but not my favorite, it only lasted 2 really good uses and one okay use before it was binned. for the price I suppose that if you did your nails once a month and bought a new one every two months then it works out a £1 per month but I feel that Ms Manicure is better value for money. however the side for filing lasted another 2 rounds, so all in all not to bad. 7/10

The Final one is Superdrug 6 way buffer, this one comes with different edges for filing you nails as well, however out of all 3 this is the worst, after one use it was pretty much useless and only good for filing my nails, but after 2 more times it wasn't even good for that anymore. the buffer for making your nails shine, didn't even last the one go! So by far the least impressive of the 3. 5/10

So my star buy is the Ms Manicure, for the money and quality and the fact that all edges last about the same amount of time, all in all a good buy if your looking for a cheap replacement or if you are a first time user.

Origins
'Gloomaway' - Grapefruit body souffle

Origins is all about finding new and different answers to age old problems, taking control of how you treat your body, and enhancing the way you look and feel, inside and out. To this end, we use aromatic essential oils and botanical extracts in our collections.
This was yet another free product from the John Lewis event, and it was nice for me as I have never heard of Origins, so to be able to sample them without having to spend ages looking at reviews, or looking for little tester, has been a small godsend.

I have very strange skin, to be frank, not many things work for me and when it gets to my face, I'm even harder to please as most skin care products just bring me out in spots. I have been this way for years and I actually normally only moisturise once a week. This is simply because more than that and my skin, esp on face tends, to react to whatever I use, and trust me I have pretty much tried it all.

The best thing about this is the smell, It is gorgous and fresh, The citrus of the grapefruit hangs around for a while and everytime I moved I got a blast of that heavenly smell. I have not really noticed much of a difference in my skin since using it, but as I said there are not many skin products that work for me, thats not to say that anyone else who tries this may find it to be a miracle product, for me, my skin feels a little softer and smells really nice.

I have used it after every shower. Its not hard to work into the skin, but does take a fair amount of time to dry off properly. Its a nice consistency and it isn't to watery. For me though it is something that I can use more than once a week, as so far I have had no bad reactions to it. So if you have sensitive, unusual or downright weird skin (like me) this may be a good option to consider. For those of you that are lucky enough to use whatever you want I would recommend this, but more for the smell than anything else.

Embrace your beauty, and express your femininity with amazing grace spray fragrance. Amazingly clean, beautifully feminine scent.

So this is another tester that I had at the John Lewis Event. I looked it up online and it retails at £32 for 60ml, which is no worse than any other perfume.

What I love about this one is that It really is clean and floral, Its such a nice smell that I keep smelling my wrists whenever I have it on, I can not pinpoint the flowers but its a
Lovely scent that reminds me of walking on mountains on clear summer days and also I think i can detect a hint of almost fresh cut grass, but that's just me!

I would wear this perfume when Im feeling a little flirty and girly, It is such a sweet feminine smell but it is not overpowering or too floral at the same time, an absolute perfect balance of everything in this perfume.

At the end of the day it does not matter who you are, you choose perfumes based on what you like, in essence they are an extension of you and what you like. This one is simple, Clean, Fragrant and makes me feel young. I will be asking for a bottle for Christmas as now I have tried and used this I don't think I want to stop.

All I am wearing is Touche Eclat foundation, Lip Gloss & Mascara.
Light, Luminosity and radiance in your perfect shade.

I have never been able to buy drug store foundation as it never ever matches my skin, I always end up looking yellow, Dark or like a ghost. So I started buying named brands, I have used Dior, Estee Lauder, MAC and they have all done me well, but each had their own little faults. I found that Dior wasn't very good at being buildable, MAC Dried my skin out and Estee lauders seemed to fade too quickly and was quite powdery after a few hours.

During the John Lewis event I got a color match for the YSL Touche Eclat foundation. I was given a 7 day trial amount. To be 100% honest when they were telling me how great it was I was sceptical because as far as I was concerned there has always been problems with the foundations that I have used in the past, as mentioned above. I also tend to find that most products never live up to their hype.

I have used it every day since and It is amazing. It feels a little greasy when you first start to rub it in but after it dries it feels like velvet. It is every easy to use to build on your face and the picture of me above is after 2 coats and 7 hours. It also goes on and dries quickly, no waiting between re-applying. It gets rid of my rosy cheeks easily (though that is why I needed to two coats). If you haven't a lot of blemishes or redness I think one very thin application would do very well, It lasts for a long time and makes me feel like a movie star, My skin looks flawless.

It feels light and looks like my own skin, It has covered a good multitude of sins from, blotchy under eyes to rosy cheeks to a few little spots. All in all it think this is a staple for anyone looking to have natural skin. its ease to use and smooth feel makes this product no1 for me and as soon as I am in town next I will be picking up a full size one and will never look back.

DKNY Be Delicious 50ml Eau de parfum
DKNY Be Delicious celebrates individuality with refreshing spirit, like the city that inspired it. Served in a sleek metal and glass apple bottle, this juicy fragrance combines the scent of Apple with a blend of exotic flowers and sensual woods.
The picture descriptions I got off Boots webside, and I think that it describes the perfumes perfectly. Prices range from approx £28-£38 for 30ml & £40-£48 for 50ml, Gift sets are also available, prices vary.

I have used the original (green) be delicious for 2 year and found it to be very sweet but flirty, Its not overpowering and the biggest downside I find is that you have to use quite a few sprays to make it last longer, but that aside it is a great day to day scent. It really does smell like an apple, but only after the flowery smell has subsided. All in all I would say that this is a fresh, calming, frtity & delightful scent.

I recently purchased the DKNY red be delicious and find it to be just as nice as the original, at first I liked it but not as much as the original and have now changed my mind. What I like about the red is that it is a bit more heavy and spicey than the original. It does still need a good spraying to get lasting wear, but I find that the smell is much more noticeable after a while. I would describe this as fresh, alluring, enchanting & relaxing aroma.

These are not my all time favorite perfumes but as a work/day to day wear I love them. They are not too strong or overpowering, too flowery or musky but titter between pleasant and captivating.
